La Paz Waterfall Gardens As we leave the city, we can see the contrast of the urban lifestyle with the tranquility provided by a rural life founded on agricultural production and mainly on coffee cultivation, although later we will also find plantations of ferns, flowers, strawberries and dairies. Upon reaching the Doka Estate Coffee Mill, we will have a typical breakfast and then immediately start with the Coffee Tour. In this real coffee plantation we are going to learn the ancient techniques used by the experts to produce one of the best coffees in Costa Rica. After the visit, we will continue our way to the Poás Volcano, where we can reach its main crater with additional trails to learn about the different ecosystems in this unique and protected national park. The exit of the volcano allows us to be back at approximately 2:00 p.m. at your hotel in San José.
